During the plenary council new book of Fr. Rudolf. V. D’Souza, OCD , “A SOWER WENT OUT TO SOW” was released by Definitor General Rev. Fr. Augustine mulloor, OCD. He appreciated the Author for his great effort in publishing his 26th book. Province fathers applauded for his contribution. His contribution to our media ministry is worth noting. As the director of the publication, I appreciate his contribution and wish him Good luck.

Events

The Carmel Prayer Group supported by Dhyanavana Publications, conducted a full day seminar for Youth of the Archdiocese of BAngalore on 5th Dec. 2010, at Great Carmel Premises. The seminar had over 150 youth and around 7 resource persons.

The Dhyanavana Publications (DP) , is the Center for the Apostolate of the Press of the Karnataka-Goa Province of the Discalced Carmelites (OCD), it is a unit of Dhyana Jyothi Trust (Regd.) , a Charitable and Social Non Governmental Organization. DP is committed to serve the church through its publications with the following objectives:

Dissemination of Christian and Carmelite Spirituality:

• By Publishing Books on Prayer, Contemplation, Carmelite Spirituality, Religious Life, Theology, Inter-Religious Dialogue etc.
• By bringing out Indian reprints of Valuable, Foreign publications on Carmelite Spirituality.
Since its inception DP has published a number of books on Prayer, Spirituality, Theology, Philosophy and Religion.
